This GIG is for those interested in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 

 

The SDLC allows your team to work with detailed standards and processes to work in unison.  A good SDLC is a step by step simple process that itself, incorporates the Return on Investment (ROI) calculations before investing in a project.

 

SDLC exposes all project related risks, grade their severity therefore allowing you to mitigate risks.  With risk mitigation and risk control, you gain stronger financial control and a greater rate of acceptance from stakeholders. 

 

SDLC identifies the necessary steps in a project so key steps are not overlooked.  Using SDLC leads to repeatable quality results.  In turn these results significantly lower costs.

 

SDLC provides a value added process to manage all projects across your corporation, including knowledge transfer.
