Determine the business value of CRM, and perform a benefit scan as part of a value-based management approach. Use this case study example of Midas, Inc., a fictional enterprise that manufactures and markets investment goods.

Instructions: Download this document. It consists of a Microsoft Word paper and an Excel spreadsheet that are to be used together. First, make a backup copy on your PC of the Excel spreadsheet, then print out the Word document (A4 format), if possible on a color printer. The Word document contains instructions for handling the spreadsheet. Follow the instructions precisely, and do not change the file name of the spreadsheet. Instructions are summarized in Appendix 1 of the Word document. (Note that it will take four to eight hours to work your way through the paper the first time.)
