Format: Report
This document defines the business case for a project and provides the justification for proceeding with it. It is the primary product of a study carried out to investigate the feasibility of the project. The business case will be revisited at key points during the development life cycle of the project. Thus, it provides both an initial measure of the worth of carrying out the project and checkpoint criteria to measure the project's viability as it progresses.

"Way, way too long and complicated. One should be able to describe a business need and the options for consideration in less than 10 pages. The time has come to stop overblown verbage."
