Format: Evaluation Assessment
Function points are a measure of the size of a software system. To convert function points into levels of effort, the productivity of the enterprise's development teams must be known or estimated. Function point analysis is used for project sizing and productivity measurement and applies to the Design and Construction stages of a process. Albrecht Function Points measure the complexity and size of the system to be built. These factors are calculated from the functional and technical characteristics of the system and the development environment. This three-for-one zipped deliverable includes a thorough overview of function point analysis (Word), instructions on how to apply a function point analysis (Word) and a worksheet (Excel) set up for an Albrecht function point analysis.
