Recently, I completed course requirements for the Stanford Advanced Project Management mastery certificate, earning the professional credential of Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM). As indicated in an overall review that I did last year, I wanted to select and evaluate key elements of this advanced PM certification and educational offering. My initial selection is "Leveraging the Customer Relationship."

 

Because my consulting business focuses upon larger projects and project teams, I chose a curriculum of electives that focused more on project managing in corporate environment as a best fit for my needs. All students must take core courses Converting Strategy to Action, Mastering the Integrated Program and Mastering the Project Portfolio. Elective modules allow for flexibility; it depends on your needs and preferences as to what you select.

 

The Leveraging the Customer Relationship (LCR) course directs the student's attention toward leveraging the front line customer contact that every project manager encounters daily.
