Evaluate your project by rating it on a scale of 1 to 5 on many items that are critical to project success.  Rate your project in the key areas of alignment with business strategy, client interaction, accountability, project manager qualifications, risk assessment/control, contracting, methodology, planning, control, project structure/team dynamics and completion. Take a good look at your own ratings. They will help you determine whether the project is ready to launch, or whether there is more preparatory work to do and preliminary adjustments to make.  If the project has been launched already, you may need to make adjustments to improve low marks.
