Checklist for Code Reviews

You rely on skilled programmers to build the programs that will constitute your software project, so give them an insurance policy to do it thoroughly and well. This checklist contains questions to keep in mind when reviewing code for tightness, accuracy, completeness and adequate documentation. If the code is constructed with care and attention to these details, the development process will be quicker and less error-plagued and the maintenance process will be smoother. The list can be invoked by developers at interim checkpoints during the construction of the code as well as during an end-of-code phase review of a more formal nature.
