You've heard the phrase "There's no I in Team" -- although that was most likely when you were 9 and in Little League. As annoying as it may have seemed at the time, it is one of those things that has stuck with you, or at least haunts you when you get older (well, at least it has now, sorry). You're a project manager, so you know this all too well. There is no one person who single-handedly runs your project. No director-producer type who does it all. You have a project team: a group of professionals who have the experience and knowledge to work together and get the job done. But what happens when you don't have that well-oiled machine, when there's one member who is trying to do it all by himself?

 

Teambuilding is an essential part of project planning. Developing a team is difficult because each member will contribute to the overall project, and you want to make sure that you've got the right people.

What makes up a team? It definitely consists of the people in your company whom you are working directly with to meet a particular goal.
